Nakuru Living lab innovation cases participated in the Ballon ventures and CitiBank Global matters program. The competing businesses were pitching for CitiBank UK, and their other East Africa partners in Nakuru. There were ten shortlisted businesses for the competition.

From the Nakuru Living Lab, Griincom and Greenthumb got first and second places respectively in the pitching competition.
