Members of the Nakuru Living Lab receiving awards and certification during the Nakuru Mkulima Digital Awards that were held at the Kingdom Schools International in Nakuru on Saturday 14th December, 20204.
The Greenthumb team received an outstanding award for their work in Aquaponics (Aquaponics/Hydroponics Category) and Charity Kelsey of Resect was awarded for her advocacy activities on Waste regeneration and BSF Technology. Mr Samuel Ooko Onani from Mukebo SHG and other members of the group were recognized for their efforts in indigenous vegetable farming and drying.
The awards were launched, opened and graced by Dr. Michael Cheruiyot Chief Officer Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Veterinerian services, and Dr. Catherine Chengwony the Chief Officer Ministry of Education, ICT, e-Government, and Public Communication.,
